Für das Brillen Label Ace & Tate aus Amsterdam habe ich den neu eröffneten Store in Freiburg fotografiert. Das Konzept hinter jedem Ace & Tate Store ist es den Charakter und die Identität der Städte aufzunehmen und in denen sie sich befinden.
Der Store ist von Freiburgs starken Engagement im Bereich Recycling inspiriert und setzt auf Wiederverwendung und nachhaltige Materialien. Als Boden kam zum Beispiel fabscrap floor zum Einsatz welcher aus recycelten Abfallmaterialien hergestellt wird und als zero-emission Werkstoff gilt. Im Showroom wurden dazu Blocke aus Acetat Resten, das Hauptmaterial aus dem Brillen gefertigt werden, eingesetzt die der Künstler Boris de Beijer gestaltet hat.

The eyewear lable Ace & Tate from the Netherlands commissioned me to photograph their new store in the city of Freiburg, Germany. The design concept of every Ace & Tate store focuses on the character and identity of the city it is located in.
Freiburg is known for its commitment to recycling and a healthy ecosystem. As such the store features many re-used or recycled materials as the flooring and the art pieces by artist Boris de Beijer.
